  1. P38 of 'The Heyday of the Warships' by Hugh Dady has a colour picture of a near ex works D600 in Blue FYE with black battery box James
  2. According to 'Class 50s The Large Logo Years' by Ian Horner , Vanguard received its black roof repaint in Jan 1986 and carried this style until Dec 1987 when it was repainted in revised light blue NSE livery Regards James
  3. Just to add my thanks for an excellent show, not one I'd been to before. Just one suggestion-the smaller separate rooms where some of the layouts and demonstrators were situated were not very clearly signposted, I stumbled across these on my way out almost by accident and very nearly missed them. James
  4. Hi I am hoping to build a rake of the vacuum braked 13t open china clay wagons without 'hoods', which were used on the 'Clayliner' working from Cornwall to the Potteries up to 1982 before the advent of the 'Clay Tiger' PBA air braked wagons. I have a feeling these wagons were a mixed bunch of BR built and pre-nationalisation types and were possibly different from the 'clayhood' type in their dimensions, so I am not sure the available RTR models and kits for clayhoods are a suitable basis. Does anyone know of any available kits which would suitable? Many thanks James Evans
  5. Hello I am in the process of building a rake of Parkside BR rebodied 21t vacuum braked hoppers (TOPS code HTV)- could anyone please advise as to whether any specific proprietary transfers exist for numbering and lettering these wagons? Many thanks James Evans
