  1. Eric, Back to the days of Kitmaster Mk 1's ? The snow scene is very topical today. Brian
  2. Eric, Thanks for the last batch of photos . Wouldn't it be great to be behind the fence on the embankment with notebook and camera! Brian
  3. Eric, A wonderful selection. I especially liked the "sheen" on 64547 (about sixth shot in). Evidence once again of your mastery of loco finishing. Can't wait to see your latest creations.... May I be the first to wish you and yours a guid new year. Lets hope for something good from Hornby...or Bachmann (the V2 is eagerly awaited. Lets hope sense prevails and we get a single chimney un named green version which did not feature in the original announcement all those years ago.....) Brian
  4. Eric You are truly an artist. I wonder what inspired you to get the goods stock out.....? Love the cattle special...great what 2 shillings could buy you. (hope I,m right about the Airfix stock or I'll have egg on my face) Brian
  5. Rob, That's the one......and doesn't it look good.... Brian
  6. Now the dust is beginning to settle can I praise Hornby for their bold program. I am however surprised at the J83 tank release.......Is this the only Hornby steam loco still with moulded handrails? I appreciate that there is a temptation to build quickly on the success of the (wonderful) new J36 but Hornby have overlooked a really quick win for the Scottish scene. A further issue of their Scottish B1. Only one production run I now of and now quite sought after. This is a very distinctive B1 looking quite different from her Southern cousins. I did mention this to Hornby on their stand at last years Ally Pally but I dare say there was a lot going on. The other Brian MacD
  7. It's got to be something scottish... Is your shop located in a Glen...or valley? I'll go for a North British Glen....and if not why not??????? BJM
  8. Clive, I am gifting a Calder Valley set to a friend. It has been boxed up for years and was dry as a bone. Gave it a service and driving car runs fine but propelling two cars it throws itself off at a point where the curve straightens out to meet a trailing turnout. Did you ever solve your problem? Brian sorry to use first names as I am not known to you.
  9. Eric, Love the black and white shot. See you at the SECC. Brian
