  1. I would guess that wagons and coaches are still to be added.
  2. http://news.Bachmann.co.uk Lots of new DMUs and grey blue Diesel Pullman in N and 00. Retooled 25s in 00 too.
  3. Thanks Steve I had not seen that. It would bring my timeline forward a bit especially if they were shipped before Chinese New Year. However you are right, they will not be here before Christmas.
  4. They are not in production yet as far as I know. So I would guess given what was shown at Warley they will arrive between March and June next year. This is my estimate only.
  5. There were lots of votes cast at Warley no doubt.
  6. As the original request was what diesel locomotive we would want replaced with a high spec new one in addition to my earlier comments I think the Peaks would be a good choice. Bachmann have not done all the variations, the tooling is a bit dated and there are lots of detail differences. It would mean doing the 44, 45 and 46 and the multiple variations especially in the 45s.
  7. I just need to match it now with my unweathered ones.
  8. No Darryl I never asked this time. When I did last year they said they were likely to do something but had not decided what.
  9. Yes, I was told the same. It was better than I expected to be honest. We have only seen an Engineering prototype that incorporated features from various sub classes. I will be pleasantly surprised if it is here this time next year. Fingers crossed.
  10. The Hornby 31 could be improved as could the 50. The Bachmann 25 could be better but we all know who is going to do that. The Woodhead electrics and the Heljan 86 are all flawed but there is less demand probably.
  11. Weathered ones now in stock. I picked mine up at Warley.
  12. Gone very quiet on the 59. Hopefully Warley might bring some progress.
  13. No doubt if someone does another 86 Heljan will do another run of their one before the new one gets released. It is a poor model by modern standards but it would dent sales of a new model if released just before a new model. If a manufacturer was doing an 86 they might keep it quiet until it almost ready for release?

    Hmmm

Is that a coach in the grey box?
  15. You first need to remove the exiting numbers and the name. Fortunately this is much easier on Bachmann models. Fox, as stated, or Railtec do suitable transfers. Orange stripes from transfers can be tricky on some areas of locos. Check the exact positions of your choosen loco from photos.
  16. I have 46 too coincidently. Only 4 to go
  17. Very nice. I did a model of 37431 myself. I have also asked railtec models about the possibility of doing the Sir Powys/County of Powis council crest that is on the left hand end of both sides of the logo under the red dragon. This first appeared in late 87 or 1988.
  18. Excellent stuff. I did some Lima DMU cutting and shunting many years ago. Feel like doing some more after reading this. Thanks for posting.
  19. Good to hear. I saw one at the DEMU showcase last weekend and it looked very good.
  20. As 1993 is a few years after the first 60s were introduced allocations could have changed. As mentioned use flickr and general image searches for the locos you need and at the date you want.
  21. The PH design ones are very time consuming to do. I would like to replace mine but I have too many 50s.
  22. I would have preferred the lighter blue too. I never realised the upswept stripes existed with the darker blue. I will be ordering one too.
