I just saw a post from hattons on Instagram saying Dapol have provided an update on upcoming products. And these wagons are now due in February 21. Not quite sure why all the retailers were told this month if that's the case. Still at least I can buy the accurascale ones now and maybe a 66 with the money is put aside for these.

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry to go back over lighting features of what shaping up to be a cracking model of the class 92. I was watching a live stream last night from a YouTuber at a station and noticed that the Caledonian sleeper 92 only had it's night light and 2nd man side marker light on, not the top marker light. This sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole with other 92 videos and some 92s have the top marker light on and some don't. Has anyone else noticed this as well? Is this somthing that will be part of the lighting functions that will be on offer? Must admit it's not somthing that would stop me from getting a 92 as I always thought top markers would always be on like with 66s and other locos that have them fitted. Regards Gary

Found it. It's on page 3 in this thread and the number on it matches what hattons have. Just not named it as a later version

I'm hoping hattons just havnt put later on product codes. I went to the Dapol catalogue to conform what ones are the later version and the running numbers do match what hattons have got so that's what I've ordered. I do remember seeing a image of one of the sides for the later versions just not a completed wagon.

Does the night light work on on both ends when on dc ,or is it just a dvd issue? Could always take the chip out of the 2 you have working already to double check

Just seen that Hornby are making an announcement on their YouTube signal box channel at 10am. Could be interesting to see what it is

Was just watching a Hornby magazine video of west coast cement from warley in 2018 and they had a sample of a colas rail either 66-029 or 66-030 running on it and strangely enough both the lower marker lights are on with the day headlight. The top marker light isn't working but the others seem to be. I also saw that these numbers were listed in the known issues for large headlight 66s. Just wondering if 29 and 30 were actually effected afterall seeing as it looks like both the marker lights were working together at one stage. Does anybody have these large headlight colas 66s? Quick question before I place the order, it gives you the option to pay a deposit or in full. Just noticed Olivastrains has them on their website. £56 a twin pack saying in stock

Last update on the digest on the 1st of April was they were finalising production with the factory as the factory was getting back to opening again. But on the JHA wagon side they said the wagons were going to be produced after the turbot wagons to coincide with the 59. So either way still looks to be a while longer as no production samples have been seen since the last batch of decorated samples at warley in 2018.
