    As the RMweb galleries have not yet been reactivated, anyone who would like to see my Dad's railway photos, the collection of LNER photos he acquired and my more recent efforts can see them on the photo-sharing site that I use. In the past some  computer firewalls have objected to the ipernity site, but I believe that problem has now been sorted out.   http://www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/album/538609

    First sighting of a red kite right over our house. They've been encroaching into South Wales from Brecon for some while but not yet seen one right over head - until now!

    I was asked by a colleague to evict the residents and their cobwebs from a lineside relay location case. I now have a little finger the size of North Watford, a clear entry point and a temperature.

      This was Volume 2: I know how it ended, it's the start I'm hazy about. And I really need to know what these "u-boats" are. They seem to be pretty important and there are loads of them. I'm guessing they're some kind of airship.

    Went to smiffs today and bought a copy of Model Rail. 'Would you like a free copy of the Sun?' No. 'It will knock 40p of your magazine'. Ok then, i'll take it and throw the paper away. How desperate is that, bribing people to take that foul excuse for a newspaper!

      You get the Sun with any magazine over a certain amount. I got one last week with my daughter's copy of "Moshi Monsters Magazine"!
