  1. Many thanks for the answers. I don't think it will be worth trying to repair the damaged channels with the information gained! Again, Many thanks. Del.
  2. Hi All. I bought this as is and really don't know what caused it to happen! Just wondering if any electronics expert could tell me what is needed to repair it? I'm led to believe they're resistors but what values would they be? Four out of the six circuits work fine, the other one has a different problem! I've tried to contact Tam valley but no answer! Thanks in advance. Del.
  3. Hi, I have these if any good to you? I may well have others but can't access to see until March when I return to the UK! Cheers. Del.
  4. Hi Ray. Thanks for the info, much appreciated, will follow that up. Cheers. Del.
  5. Hi All. Long shot I know but I am in need of whitemetal parts to complete a C Class tender. Mainly Axleboxes and springs plus any other bits someone may have spare! Many thanks in advance. Del.
  6. Hi Neil. Thanks for the Info, I have used EKM before and forgot about them, I have a pair of Bachmann steps but they're different from the Hornby ones, looks like I'll have to try and adapt them! I've been told the Hornby steps don't come as a spare and was hoping someone had some laying around. Anyway, thanks again. Cheers. Del.
  7. Needed for refurb on Hornby class 08 DCC ready super detail type. Picture shows opposite side.! Right hand front steps, One air tank for under front buffer beam. If you have any of these items please PM me with prices. Regards. Del.
  8. Hi all. Anyone out there know the sizes, pitch, dia, length for Romford/Markits gears grub screws for 00 gauge? Also whether they are Metric or BA or maybe both? Many thanks in advance. Del.
  9. Hi, Does anyone have the RS part number for the encoder please? Thanks in advance. Del.
  10. Just a quick follow up on the frog juicer! I have several DCC 80's and although they work well on standard points, they don't seem to like four/six coupled tank locos traversing 3 way points! I bit the bullet and bought a Frog1 from Blocksignalling and they are brilliant! I can now run my H class and P class tanks at really low speeds without any hint of stalling! I know they're twice the price of an DCC80 but All in all a great bit of kit. Cheers. Del.
  11. Thanks for your replies guys! Interested to note they work with NCE cabs and that they switch faster than DCC 80's ! Cheers. Del.
  12. Hi all. Anyone tried/used one of these? Would be interested in any comments. Cheers. Del.
  13. I use an old H&M Flyer or a Rocket purely for testing and running in loco's prior to fitting decoders ! To date I've had no probs with modern motors, but now I'm a bit dubious whether I should use them. Any thoughts on these older controllers ? Cheers. Del.
