  2. Good afternoon. As this post is about M7 wheels I thought I would post this question: I have noticed that the trailing driving wheels on my M7 have a slight wobble. The loco does not run very smoothly and I noticed the wobble when cleaning the wheels. Is there a simple fix or should I order a new set of wheels ? Any thoughts or suggestions would be gratefully received.
  3. Many thanks for a very in depth reply to my post. I shall have a re-think of my original idea.
  4. I have a Bachmann 45xx which I am planning to alter to BR from GWR . This will be my first attempt at changing the identity all I am planning to do is remove GWR from the side tanks and replace with the early BR totem and change the loco numbers. I have looked through several books and cannot see any pictures of the 45xx in plain green livery only black. So my question is did the 45xx ever run in plain green with the early emblem ? Thanks in advance for any replies.
  5. Thanks for your reply. I will try the blu-tack solution and see how it goes.
  6. Gents I wonder if anyone has a similar problem with their late BR Hornby Adams Tank. I have noticed that the rear coupling on the pony truck hangs at quite a low angle and seems to fall out on a regular basis. When the loco has coupled to rolling stock the low angle tends to lift the truck causing it to derail quite easily. I have had a read through the thread but cannot see any similar problems. Any response would be much appreciated. Rgds Stephen
