  1. Hi All, Does anyone know what is happening with modelmasters ? A year goo I placed an order for some decals, I am still waiting, I also ordered a kit of a “Scot” 2 years ago again still waiting all avenues of communication have drawn. a blank. I did once get hold of Jim and was told about computer problems, and not being unable to get in the warehouse and a sound promises to send the decals off. I have just been on the website again but the only way to pay is by back and I am unwilling to send any. more money without a guarantee of getting my money back. Any information would be welcome as I hope what was an excellent company demise. Ian H
  2. Thanks All, I managed to get a D1 chassis from Ian Maccormac at EE models, so problem solved. So thanks again all, Ian H
  3. Hi All, I am building a pair of L.B.&S.C.R. coaches in 4mm but have had no luck in sourcing any transfers. I have contacted Ian Maccormac but he does not have any. Ideas for anywhere I can obtain some would be most welcome as I have tried all I can think of, the nearest that I got was some goods transfers from Fox. Thanks All Ian H.
  4. I have recently become the proud owner of an ex GEM Stroudley 0-4-2 B1 kit (oo Scale) but have drawn an absolute blank as to obtaining chassis or main frames for both loco and tender. Any help and (or) directions as to where I might get them would be greatly appreciated . Many Thanks, Ian H

  7. Hi Folks, Does any one have any ideas as to where or how to obtain a loco fitted snow plough in 00 scale, like the one fitted to the Hornby j36 / I have tried all the usual suspects, peters spares etc and shapeways with no luck and am going cross-eyed looking at a computer screen. Thanks in advance, Ian H

Any ideas please, I have just finished a 4-4-0 chassis and run it in on DC, Works like a dream, But fit a decoder to it NOTHING !!! decoder is wired correctly joints soldered good correct address put in (3) I have tried 3 decoders always the same result, the motor is a mashima 1220. 13. I just wondered what is the best way to secure motor and gear box into a kit built loco, so as to stop it either flying to near vertical or trying to bury itself between the frames. This little nugget of info seems to be missing from the instructions. Any advice would be most welcome. Stay Safe Folks, Ian H
