Hello and Welcome I have wanted to build a layout based on a real location for the last 2 years, Ive chose to do Stoke Summit which is 100 miles from London and 5 miles from Grantham, Big thanks to Tony Wright and Wolverhampton Model Railway Club as they built a layout based on the Stoke Summit many years ago. I have already made a start on the layout, first task is to build the big fiddle yard that will hold all of the trains. I will keep you updated but if anyone as any photos of the real location in the 50s and 60s please post them here as im finding it hard to find photos at the moment. More on this soon. including photos next week of the progress.

Looking at a load of different gauges at the moment, as for the atmosphere which alot of people have asked about on facebook, A Terraformer creates a atmosphere like earth's, NASA want to put one on the Moon by 2025. Thanks for the comment.

​Hello everyone, If you know me on Facebook then you probably know that I have been planning this layout for a couple of years! Red Rock will be a 2ft by ? layout set on Mars 131 years in the future. The layout will be a mining colony controlled by the E.A.F (Earth Alliance Force), The Mining community or known as the W.O.M (Workers Of Mars) are at there limit and near breaking point, Mining for a special type of Rock known as POLLENTIA which is Latin for Power Pollentia is highly valuable and can only be found on Mars. There will be more to the back story soon. The layout will be 100% Scratch Built which means I will be designing my own Locomotives, Wagons, Buildings and even the Track! I have had a lot of interest in this Project and I'm hoping to start it very soon. If you have any Questions I will be happy to answer as best as I can.

Well if you dont know me you wont know that I am completely mad on railway and have spent my whole life thinking about them. I am currently building my 5th layout which is Barrow Bridge Station, the layout is based somewhere on the East Coast mainline in early 50s to early 60s, I will be sharing some photos and if you have any Questions please feel free to ask.
