Had first train set for third birthday. Not involved with hobby between mid teens and late 30s. Recently (2018) resumed interest in railway modelling, joined a model railway club and had a shed built in my back garden to build some layouts.

Two layouts are at various stages of planning and construction: one N gauge layout based in the Thames valley in 1989 and one 00 gauge layout based on the South coast of England 1935, with the possible ability to re-guise the latter to earlier eras or South Wales in 1938.
