    A die-hard DC OO modeller but have now got into On30 and Gn15 narrow gauge scales and learning about DCC for the same, much prefer older stock although have had and still have modern Loco's too, building most of my narrow gauge stock from salvaged OO chassis and bodies and from scratch

  1. I thought a few pictures of both the Budgie Jinty and LMS 7217 together would be useful
  2. That's not the Budgie Jinty, the picture below is of a playworn red Budgie version. The LMS casting you have I also have an original but not yet traced the maker but abpout the same size
  3. I've not done much with these yet, although I did get rid of the bright red on one of them
  4. This is supposedly the loco used to model the Hornby Bagnell, as you can see much artistic licence was used
  5. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that gets sidetracked on new projects, I must have a few dozen on the go too
  6. I have beem following this with great interest, what sound programme did you use, or shuld I say sound mixer app ?
  7. It is well oversized compared with the Bagnell it was based on, but I have a lot of, shall we say 'freelance' small shunters so it fits in well with the neverwasa's I already have
  8. I have one of these, but did re-paint it, the red plastic was a bit loud for me
