Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Ashley-Peter (Just call me Peter) and I was originally born in Acton, West London. But I now live in Derry, Northern Ireland. I am generally a laid back and a friendly person on the whole but I do have a very funny side and a dry sense of humour. Which unfortunately this can be misread as sarcasm, but I can assure you that it is not intentional as I am not a nasty person. But I am the sort of person that will just add troublemakers and hostile people to the ignore list without warning as I do not get involved in "mud-slinging" contests as this is not the place. But I try not to block anyone if its avoidable.

I have a long lived interest in railways since the 1980's from when I was about 4 years old back then and this hobby has stuck with me ever since. The main thing that I enjoy the most about this hobby is the photography as I started photographing trains since the mid-1990's in the days of when the days of BR was changing over to private operators. So for me seeing many interesting liveries at one location is enjoyable but I do miss the old days of the BR era.

I got my first digital camera in 2007 when I moved over from the old 35mm film camera I had before that. The first digital camera was a Fujifilm F45 Finepix. I used this until around 2013 when I moved up got the Sony WX200 that I use for my station photos as its small and lightwight design makes it ideal for grabbing quick photos. In 2015. I moved up again into the world of DSLR cameras and got myself the Canon EOS 600D with the twin lens set. I am still learning how to use my DSLR and my quality of photos does vary heavily as its all down to "lady-luck" on the day.

I also make videos that I post to my YouTube channel including many model train review videos that are neutral if not direct as I buy the products myself. But also my channel is mostly Transport Orientated as I have many railway and aviation videos on that since I opened my channel back in 2008.

I am a fully accredited Life Coach and my niche is Positivity and Life Transformation. I am accredited by "The Coaching Masters" where I became officially accredited with them in 2022. I coach in Courage, Self Belief and Self Love.

I do love model railways although my preferences are modern image stuff from the 1980's to the present day era. I very often enhance my model trains by adding crews and passengers into my model trains. So I think I am more of a modeller than a collector. I also do collect model buses, cars, trucks and planes in various scales as well I love a nice relaxing game of golf on the field in the summer. Also I do like to play video games of Train Simulator, Bus Simulator and Flight Simulators. However my other hobbies are cooking, driving, learning languages and travel. So I have a lot of interests.
