I went to the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway yesterday, and they were running an autocoach. The driver told me that the coach will be there for a year.

I have had a go at lining my N7. I used Fox Transfers, although I think the lining may be a bit too thick.

There is an article in British Railway Journal no11, G.E.R. Carriages in Crimson Lake by John Watling which states that Crimson was used from 1919. It goes on to describe the paint finish in LNER days. Regards Tony. -

This signal was at Race Course siding, between Derby Friargate and Breadsall. Apparently the signal arms were removed when there was no racing. Regards Tony. -

Left handed brake lever
Baldyoldgit replied to Baldyoldgit's topic in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips
I have found the answer to my question. https://hmrs.org.uk/photographs/10t-4-plank-open-lne-508132-xgc-unidloc-1935-side.html. the brake levers are now right handed on both sides. Tony. -
Left handed brake lever
Baldyoldgit replied to Baldyoldgit's topic in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips
Thanks for your replies. I reread the instruction and the brakes were on one side only[easy to adjust], although there are two sets provided. I think I will leave it with handed brake levers, it will be in LNER livery. Tony. -
I am building a GC 10 ton open wagon kit. The brake levers are handed, I realize the wagons were built like this, but does anyone know if they were later altered to right hand levers on both sides? Regards Tony.
