    As a young modeller on a (very) limited budget, I would love to see more low budget layouts. I enjoy watching finescale layouts with accurate trains running on them but when you realise that many of these layouts (not all of them big ones) are running £1000+ of rolling stock it doesn't make it seem like something achievable. Low budget modelling with older models doesn't have to look toylike - show us what you talented modellers can do with not much outlay.

    I would say that is one of Hornby's worst train sets ever, certainly not worth £49.99 of my money. The Airfix kits are a good price though.

    Looks great, though having built one or two Scalescenes kits myself I should know that it isn't difficult to make them into good models.

    Dear Mr Peters and Colonel La De Da hyphen Poshname (Retired), If that pesky Counteer woman complains about anything else on Kings Moreton or any other layout, I would suggest that you show her the rule book and place a special emphasis on Rule 1, as this makes provision for doing anything you like.
