  7. UPDATE! DRS COMPASS LOGOS ordered from LANCASTER CITY MODELS DRS 20/3 Multiple-working connection sockets from SHAWPLAN All will arrive soon, and will be on. Little bit of work still left to do. Warning signs and the orange stripes, and add the WIPAC light clusters and it will be done!
  8. The reason I haven't completed the point motor installation yet, is because of the really hard challenge of the crossover by the tunnel. Hard to reach, hard to do. So, here is the plan. Remove the points, and put them onto Crewesly TMD. Buy 2x Left hand 'Express' points and 2x Right hand 'Express' points. This will allow me to crossover my trains onto different tracks from both directions. One of the crossovers will be on the mainline section near the level crossing, whilst the other will be in the station, to allow trains from the thru line to get onto platform 2. So one on each side of the board. They will be easier to install, as there is more room to move around and more freedom! lol I will need to take up some of the ballast that is between the two tracks on the mainline stretch, but that is no problem. Here is a track plan of what it currently looks like, and what it will look like! Enjoy! (CURRENT TRACKPLAN) (TRACKPLAN WITH OLD CROSSOVER REMOVED, AND NEW ONE IN PLACE) And a video to go with it (some trains passing by to start off with) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8nd1aNiVRo
  9. Woa! Haven't seen this layout for some time, and it looks amazing! Love it all! Well done!

  14. That 350 in VT livery is stunning! Really good! Also, that VT scud looks good.... mmm... what about a Virgin 395? Or arriva pendo?
  15. Amazing repaint, though not sure on how it fits the javelin. I think we should leave it to the plastic pigs. Those uglys redo are very good.... DRS 70 would do me fine! Now, any chance of a Artemis Hanson traction liveried ugly and 66? That would be great! The wacky purple and green livery. Who could do that for me?
  16. James, the pictures weren't available, and will be taken and uploaded this weekend. It is based on the Bachmann model (ex-20052 weathered)....
  17. Cheers Richard! Pictures will be availabe tonight hopefully!
  18. The DRS 20 gets out yet again into the workshop, and gets touch-ups with many colours of paint to get the best results from my cheap-o paint brushes and my capability. The main DRS compass logo has been fully painted over and sanded off, and the surface is pure blue... well, I needed to say 'and the surface was pure blue' because yesterday, I got out my scissors, water etc and got the number (20312) put on the loco in the right place, along with the data panels on the bottom corner nearest the number on the external fuel tank. What do you think? Will be back on the layout in videos very soon! Pictures will be available very soon!
  19. Cheers! Slight change to the track plan, nothing major.... What do you think?

  21. Done a plan for the TMD... here it is Enjoy!
  22. Im basing it the glasgow side of Edinburgh... near Junction 3 on the M9 between Edinburgh and Glasgow. I found the sign template from DVLA, then edited to get what I wanted. Looks good doesnt it? It will be made from cardboard around the house, plus some tarmac sheets that I use for my platforms... plus some cut up sticky labels for the white lines.... a nice budget motorway... I will be adding barriers to the road too... will use the remaining on the road to the car park on the main layout... or somewhere on the depot area... Also a few portakabins and a fueling point...
