Have been researching whether any orange and black liveried Strathclyde PTE 156s made it onto WHL. A trawl of Flickr and my various books has drawn a blank. Anyone know? Was wondering whether the forthcoming Dapol could be reasonably included on my N gauge WHL layout? Cheers

Looking for any evidence that TEA bogie tank wagons were run on the West Highland or Far North lines? Have trawled Flickr and various forums without success. Have various references to the West Highland with plenty of usual suspect TTAs and odd Procor but no TEAs. Anyone aware of TEAs working to Fort William, Kyle, etc.? Or will be this be rule 1....?

I know these were rare sightings on the WHL, but any info, photos and links much appreciated

I'm beginning to model WHL in N gauge with a station largely based on Bridge of Orchy. I've ordered the RM from 2005 which has Ian Futers article on the station, but it's yet to arrive. Having looked at plenty of images on Ernies archive on Flickr I'm struggling to make out the building material of the platform sides. Extremely dirty and almost impossible to tell by the mid 80s. Anyone able to comment? Keep up the great work Rob. This is a real masterpiece
