Some years ago I saw an article in one of the model railway magazines in which the author had repositioned the motor and built a new gearbox from Squires gears, spindles and driven by a biro refil tube. I had saved this article to get round to copying. Now I've got the gears and spindles and can't find my copy of the article. does anyone else have knowledg of this subject and can you help me with the details please.

Hi, I have tried to find this subject on 'You tube' and RM WEB before posting this. I apologise if someone has already covered it and I couldnt find it. I have a OO Gauge Hornby six axle LMS dining car which I would like to open up to fit passengers and lighting. There are no obvious way to access it. The solebar chassis looks to be capable of seperating from the body but I can't see any clips or places to 'target'. Has anyone opened one of these and is in a position to tell me how its done please?
