Scratchbuild a Polybulk? I'm sure someone has .. I thought it might be fun.. I know Mr Burkin did it but never really showed how he did it. Anybody have a tip how to get the curvature on the body, brass? use a former and glue plasticard to it? Anyone tried it?

Does anyone have any schematics for fitting lighting on a 21 pin sound txs decoder by any chance? Never done aux wiring on 21 pin and hoping to fit lights on my Hornby 08 21 pin version.

you are both right. Decent peeps know what to do and how to formulate their thoughts. It seems this system is working out better than anything else on the market- mainly because of price tags. Im quite happy with the way my shunter is working and its cv' spec. I wonder if one of the clever electronic companies will come out with another add on ala the Dongle to help all the other systems compatible with it? I hope this is possible as I have several new type locos which I cant operate the functions above function 20 ie Baccy 37 and 47. I wouldnt want to start changing decoders in my Latest full spec deluxe versions of these. Still waiting for more sound profiles, 59? or 33? Hopefully Hornby have plans for Accessory control?

Warrgghh once again - its not me.. I suspected not quite right when it asked me to once again reset the decoder and reload sound profile.. At least my phone is free to use as, well.. as a phone!

Ahhhhh ok thanks.. its not me.. Ive loaded up the App to another phone and redone it to work properly.. Now its doesnt work on the original Phone.. Something im missing.. I would like 2 phones , one as backup..

Anybody know what the 'wagon snatching mode' on fct 14 is ?

I must be missing something. When I bring up this option it doesnt respond when I click on the other numbers. Other cv's I can adjust ok. Is there other cv to change first or something in the settings.. its not major irritation but will help others anyway. Thanks M

The Auto sound function for 08 is a joy, switch on and horns sound occasionally,brake squeals , flange.. saves fumbling around for correct button. Fantastic product , can't put it down. *Still can't fathom how to change direction on the cv * And can you install the App on multiple phones etc? As I would prefer not to use my main phone With regards to the 73 issues it seems that Hornby need to re do the profile.

No need, you can use those blue piousness masks on ya head instead.. got loads of em.. dont work for me lol [loads dumped in new forest] they tripped off my asthma for the first time in years .. and couldn't work out why. Some medic told me they've got metal particles in em that probably I'm 'allergic' to. But then again its what makes you feel safe' I suppose. Never needed hats or masks- it doesn't effect me or anybody I know.

Couple of hours physical installation and setting up- on off on off etc with the App. Got there in the end. Decided to install in a Hornby 21pin class 08 thats been sitting on my project list for a couple of years after the motor burned out and in turn burned the sound decoder. Now resurrected. Power bank fits in cab nicely. I dont think ive come across a better product. Sound quality superb. The world has moved on. Hats off to Hornby.

pretty much the way the world is going.. your phone is following you everywhere and can be tracked if you do something naughty, [no matter what you 'disable'] camaras everywhere now, go for a job- they want your total history, Dbs check, proof of identity, proof you have status to 'work' -medical history- I heard somewhere some jobs were trying to 'enforce' the crona flu bug vaxx a couple of years ago!.. -even if you were not at risk of it. Any pic you take on your phone has date, time on it - no matter what you do. Your cars details are online Mot history, advisories, pass's milage.. If your worried about permissions' to be honest I stopped worrying about that years ago- there aint anything you can do about it. Just relax, play trains and have a cadburys caramel!!

Anybody know what the measurements of this wagon are or how much shorter is it compared to the Hornby /Bachy TEA? The Lima Tanker has been mentioned as 'similar meaning; the longer tanker they produced or the short European type one they did.. Im just researching how one could produce one of these by either scratchbuilding or adapting an existing older tanker .. Happy for any suggestions

I didn't use another pga in this conversion as recommended by some articles I've seen as felt it was a waste. Just butchered up extended,filled in and rubbed down. Paint,weathering and transfers are good at hiding all the imperfections! An interesting little project for those wanting to add something different to their stock. ..

Off to Bracknell tomorrow to see what the proper Railway moddelers are getting up to.. oh and I need some of those Dart castings buffers! For a salt wagon..

anybody scene Eu rails latest vid on the 66 sounds? the startup has a engine clunk like a class 37 before it cycles into normal 66 sounds.. I never heard this before, is this realistic on some 66s? none of my schemes have this slight variation and Ive got a few.. [?]
