  1. That's why there's two long tables in the posh dining area; it's not about capacity, it's about separating pasty and scone factions.
  2. Should have pointed them to the bloke at the end and said "Have a word with him, he sold it."
  3. And to tell everyone else that they are. They'd be heartbroken to know that the majority of people don't care about their perspective and they're unlikely to actually bring anyone down to their level of gloom (as it's not just this topic) but the problem is that, like seagulls at the council tip, they never fly alone.
  4. Because of the sentence that followed. layouts don't have to have stations or lots of trains to be good. The production team have obviously gone to a lot of effort and travelled the country for good content and showing a wider context; maybe they shouldn't have bothered.
  5. It's evident that several posters in this topic haven't been following the build of the project on here over the last few years (or buy BRM). The programme did explain the motivations behind it. You're quite dismissive of it without reliasing quite how good the actual modelling is. I think you may be mixing Heaton Lodge up with Pete's 'Making Tracks'. many of the locos for Heaton Lodge are Heljan (Hornby don't do O) and although PW is opening Heaton Lodge's first show has had enough on his plate with his project.
  6. I have spoken to a couple of exhibition managers (not this event, I've just chosen it as the most recent of the numerous topics where you are copy and pasting the same question) who are wondering what your motives are. Are you representing a club, society or event or closely linked to one? If so a little more openness would probably give you a better response. If not, they're wondering who you are, why you need to know and what you're going to be doing with any information. After all, such information and their bearing on club finances are very much their business.
  7. Exhibition managers may be more prepared to share such information in the private forum area referenced in the OP.
  8. As the topic title asks for something different from what the OP says he wants to know and the inevitable confusion I'm locking the topic off.
  9. That may confuse some of the investigation into the problem but I have asked the office to investigate.
  10. Another user sent me a note yesterday on this too. It may relate to a comment which has been subsequently deleted by the user. Could you go to the notification, right click, and paste the link address in here please so I can investigate further.
  11. He's finally got the hang of it then?
  12. He'll be back on fishing trolleys out of the cut in the morning.
  13. It's about the prototype railway, in the UK and it's a question. Guess where I've moved it to?
  14. And this isn't the right place either, I've moved your previous post to the correct area. In future please use the report function to report a topic rather than creating duplicates.
  15. Do you use the same email address for RMweb as you used when you signed up for WoR+ ? I'll get onto the office for them to investigate in the morning as I don't have remote access to the subs and billing systems.
  16. Yeah, they probably don't have one bloke doing all of the jobs.
  17. I can sympathise with their software engineers having a thoroughly miserable, stressful weekend, their customer service staff who have to deal with some of the daft questions and their social media people having to sit and read some of the stupid comments.
  18. It was before the deco stage.
  19. For the RMweb integration have you logged in here yet? https://www.world-of-railways.co.uk/account/login?ref=%2Fmy-account%2Fmy-membership%2F You should have had another email with instructions for the Exact Editions access to the mags.
  20. And the moon's made of cheese. I doubt he checked many, if any, despite what the card said. He once sent me a 'first running sample' to test which had no motor in it. Or gears.
  21. Doing a nice job there Dave! Interesting alternative usage of coal staithes. Add in the Sprat and winkles and we can tell you're no newbie to the game.
  22. I'll wheel this out again. You may need higher grade masks for best protection but any mask does afford some protection to those around you.
  23. A long way to pedal from home! I can give you a few pointers to where there's some remnants of the networks around the area when you do go.
