  1. What a cracking model. All I need now is a black 20001 and a black 20003. I know, want want want, never satisfied !
  2. I know how to flog a dead horse - SR Night Ferry sleepers and vans please !
  3. SR Night Ferry sleepers and associated vans please !
  4. What ? Still no SR Night Ferry sleepers !
  5. I would make my oft repeated request for Night Ferry sleepers and associated vans, both SR and SNCF please !
  6. Now that we have the D1 coming which can double head with our Bulleid pacifics, can we have the Night Ferry vehicles to go with them ?
  7. I appear to have missed the Night Ferry sleepers. Can anybody tell me what page in the catalogue they are on ?
  8. Given that the driving wheel centres for 9fs are a constant 5 feet 5 inches apart, the enlarged photographs posted above, do not appear to reflect this.
  9. As I am a keen enthusiast of all things Southern, I await with interest the forthcoming Hornby announcement in the hope that they will produce Night Ferry wagon lits sleepers and associated vans. Given that these would be limited in their area of operation, I would be interested to know if there is any desire amongst other members in seeing these vehicles being produced.
  10. Good Afternoon All, First things first, can anybody tell me if suitable transfers are available to rename and renumber DS237 MAUNSELL to DS238 WAINWRIGHT ? Secondly, I want to replace the existing round buffers on my Hornby Lord Rowallan to oval buffers such as carried by 70045 after collision damage was repaired in 1966. Can anybody suggest suitable replacements please. By the way, has anybody noticed that after the collision damage was repaired, 70045 gained a driver's side, replacement deflector stay complete with a SR Lamp bracket !
  11. Good Evening David, Please excuse my apparent bad manners in not responding sooner but I have been distracted somewhat over recent times because of family related issues and modelling projects have had to be shelved. I have just downloaded the two drawings for the Night Ferry sleepers and they look to be of great assistance for which I offer my belated thanks. I am still pinning my hopes on Hornby announcing these vehicles in their 2019 range on the 7th January. If not, then I shall get cracking. Once again, Thank you. Ivor
  12. Gentlemen, Thank you for the responses. I had missed the fact regarding the taper to the bodysides but it becomes apparent upon closer examination. Fred, thanks for the tip on the French publications, I'll endeavour to track one down. Regards, Ivor
  13. Roy,Jason, Thank you for the replies. I have a copy of the Night Ferry but some of the dimensions are indistinct hence the query. Being recently semi-retired, I have had the idea that I want to scratch build a rake of these sleepers and could do with some better drawings. I'm still pinning my hopes on Hornby providing the sleepers next year ! Ivor
  14. Having convinced myself that Hornby were going to announce the introduction of the above vehicles in their recent newsletter, can anybody advise if and where drawings are available for the sleeping cars ?
  15. My money is on Night Ferry sleepers !
