  1. As Chief Door Steward I must apologise for the problems we had with contactless/card payments for admissions from mid morning to early afternoon today. This turned out to be a problem with our merchant provider who had failed to update their systems with KYC data we had provided them with back in 2019. This has now been rectified and payments started flowing again from about 2.30pm Although contactless payments appear very convenient they actually take about twice as long as a cash transaction for my battle hardened team to carry out - this is purely a function of the latency of electronic payment networks especially on a busy bank holiday weekend when most non modellers are at the garden centre or DIY store. -R

  4. For those of you still following this thread be aware that the "new" models posted on the Kemilway website are not going to be made available via Peter now - last week he declined to pay for the production tooling for the first batch despite having taken money from several customers. I also know that at time of writing he owes money for development work on the 7mm GN/LBSC Atlantic project. For those of you interested in seeing some of the models and hearing about future development and sales plans I can be found on stand A50 in the demo area at Warley/NEC in a couple of weeks -R
