  1. Not sure I've seen this layout before but I like what I see.
  2. Really liking this lot - quite atmospheric.(But then perhaps I am a bit biased - it is my local heritage line after all...)
  3. Well the crossing certainly ain't what it used to be...
  4. Looks great to me - that's a lot of progress in not a lot of time.
  5. Can't believe this thread is now 2 years old...
  6. Will be watching with interest for two reasons: Modern image (which I like) Resemblance (however loose) to Cheltenham (my local station).
  7. Gloomy start at Grosmont: You may or may not remember, but 1 year ago today (where did the time go?!?) there was SNOW here.

  13. Like many lines in the South/South East.
  14. No worries,I haven't been for over 4 years (but then I'm not local).See here for some videos of my 2014 visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBeg4cfqGXA&list=PLUPZ2zRwzv4HY2uVa1IXU3uE-LEXalSV6
  15. Caught this one (my first capture since March!): 37 with a mini-kettle.
  16. The real 150219 is still in the very livery shown here.It was working the Newquay branch yesterday (I think): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBz40D4wwvQ Keep up the good work (and the good humour).
  17. Hey,I like 'the 4 skateboards'!Such formations can appear in real life - I caught this at Grantham last year: 153383/379/374/302,what a scoop!
  18. Are you kidding? No rain for 3 months?Had some down my way on Friday.
  19. What do you call this?Bus jam?Bit like when Cheltenham seems to be crawling with (extra) buses on race days...
  20. I caught the convoy going through Cheltenham yesterday afternoon: I also managed to get them last week on their way down (please note, not all of the convoy is visible):
  21. I was at Kidderminster on Thursday - just watching though, tickets were too expensive.Perhaps inspired by the 'Sheffield Wednesday' name on the 66,someone had scrawled 'Stoke City FC' in the dirt on the 37.On both sides.I took plenty on the camera but here are 20 phone snaps. Fantastic day, seeing locos I'd never seen before - 42,52,55,56 - and reacquainting myself with others (73).Also first time seeing a 4TC,plus a 66 on a passenger train.
  22. Maybe someone should rename the thread to suit...
  23. Point 1: It ran down to Battersby and back.See here:www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/advanced/GMT/2018/05/11/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt Point 2:Whitby trains run as Class 1 (express passenger) because the public timetable says non stop between Grosmont and Whitby. Hope this is useful.
