The Johnster

Just pondering upon the various unexpected paths this hobby takes one down; earlier today found myself doing historical research into Collis Trucks, hydraulic hand-operated lifting kit for use in factories and warehouses 'for a project'. 

At other times I've gone into the distance between telegraph poles and fence posts, overhead ropeways, street drainage, and colliery notices on boards, none of which are directly to do with railways but have all been attractive to my inner (inner, who am I kidding) nerd in their own ways.
