Interesting posts. I was thinking about making one in oo gauge. I was thinking about 3D printing the body and then powering it from a wagon as seen earlier in the topic. Has anyone got any pictures of one made in oo gauge? cheers Tom.

Just a quick update. I have extended the boiler and taken the safety valves of an old engine to use. I have also brought some paint to spray it with when ready. It may have been silly choosing a blue colour. 'Look mummy here comes thomas!' Says every kid who will see it!

Think the end result might end up a bit like that, cheers!
