  1. Cracking photo and great info. Do you have any more or a link to a album??
  2. Thanks for the feedback everyone. Very enlightening. Is there a set work diagram to avoid conflicting movements?
  3. Good Evening All! I was wondering if anyone knows about the signalling within steels works - for instance, Scunthorpe or Port Talbot? Do they use 3 aspect signals? ground position lights? specialist signals? Any information regarding signalling would be useful - including in and out of exchange sidings! Thanks in advance!
  4. Thanks everyone for the input. I have decided that I will place half of the usual signals on wrong direction track and reduce their aspect to 3 (from normal 4) with a reduced speed limit! Thanks again!
  5. Would the speed limit be reduced on the "wrong line" due to the signal distances and the fact that they where two aspect?
  6. I should add this is a modern day question with 3/4 aspect LED lights
  7. Hello Everyone, I was wondering when a mainline has bi-directional signalling as a redundancy (so not used all of the time) what signals are placed on the "wrong running line" facing the wrong way and are the signal distances the same? For instance does the wrong running line have ground signals or 3 aspect signals or normal 4 aspect signals? Just looking for inspiration and a reason to run trains on the wrong track either direction
  8. What a fantastic response. thank you everyone for your input!
  9. Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a cross-sectional image of one of london undergrounds deep tunnel lines, with accurate measurements for the diameter of the tunnel, track bed height, rail height etc? I have been pulling my hairout but all i have managed to fine so far is these but it is just a structure gauge and not the actual tunnel! argh! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
