  1. I have to agree. What is the point if they aren't going to make it DCC ready?
  2. It's a while since I was last there, but the No2 Refreshment Room at the station always used to be worth a visit.
  3. As you say, we probably didn't have a release date. I was asked the same question, making claim for N gauge Kings in June 2019. I said "towards the end of the year", and they were happy.
  4. I seem to need a user name and password to get to that?
  5. Dave Thanks for clarifying the position. Although I have pre-ordered one, this is the first time I've ever pre-ordered something from you. It's not something I normally do. If this project is dependant on a level of pre-orders, there ought to be a comment on the website to make this clear. Otherwise, there may well be a number of people who look at the Garrett and think "Yes, I'll have one when they're available", but not pre-order because they don't realise that, if they don't, there may not be a product at all. Dave
  6. In my case it was the deposit for three Kings, total £202.50. I put in the order in August 2018, and made the claim a couple of weeks after DJM went into liquidation. The payment was made on a Lloyds Mastercard. The following might be of help: https://www.lloydsbank.com/credit-cards/help-and-guidance/section75.asp especially regarding the length of time.
  7. It probably depends on whether you're doing a Section 75 claim or a charge back. Lloyds did a Section 75 claim for me with little problem, only needed two phone calls. The only issue I had was that I had to make the second call to chase it up after they'd not done anything following the first one.
  8. The credit arrived in the account overnight.
  9. Having heard nothing at all from my CC company in the two weeks since I contacted them, I've just phoned them again. I pointed out that I was aware that several people in the same situation had already received refunds (handy things, forums!). I was told that they'd written to me - I haven't actually received anything (letters from them usually take an age to arrive). I was then told that I could expect a credit in my CC account within three working days. Object lesson, keep at them !! I'll let you know when (if?) the credit arrives.
  10. For what it's worth, the receipt email I received for the King order has, as the subject: Your DJ Models Ltd order receipt from August 26, 2018 which makes it look like the contract was with the company.
  11. I have also contacted CG Recovery and got a similar reply. I've just contacted my credit card provider and set the wheels in motion. A tip for anyone else phoning Lloyds Bank. When you get their "Please say in your own words the reason for your call" question, don't include the word "claim" as the automated system will direct you to their insurance team.
  12. Perhaps I need to take a subscription. That way I get the DVD, and I'm not paying extra to get a free gift which is of no use to me, as an N gauge modeller.
  13. I ordered a medium N gauge one several years ago. After the original confirmation, didn't hear much. Last year I moved house, to somewhere I could build a larger layout, so contacted them to let them know my new address and asked if I could change the order to the large N gauge version. Answer yes, and within a couple of weeks it had arrived. Allen appeared on my doorstep at about 7:30 one morning having got up really early and driven nearly 200 miles to get to me. Everything was installed, tested and explained within half an hour, and he was back on the road again. So far I've had no problems with it. Dave
  14. Do they have an online shop or do you have to pay them a visit? I can't find a link to an online shop on their website.
  15. The Warley show website has DJ Models listed, stand A11.
