Bollywood comes to Embsey. 9-8-92. Was a very wet day, and i've not a clue what film this is for, i heard someone say something about it being a Bronte story brought up to date.

i can recognise mine easily as well, cos mine are all rubbish! I'm withdrawing from this and some other sites at the end of this week, but all my stuff can stay on, i won't remove any of it, then others after me can either use them for reference or just suffer by looking at them

Could'nt agree more about the glorification of that event, i once owned an old land-rover and was on a owners web site where the owner of one of those landies used in that violent robbery seemed to glorify the whole event when he posted once, and also when he showed off the vehicle at classic shows, i stated my concerns and got a lot of abuse because i did so, and the fact that the landies were stolen from some once proud owners of them at the time specially for the robbery also washed over his and other forum members heads...he said "well it was'nt the landies fault was it"...i replied.."no but its your fault in the way you are glorifying the event and you are forgetting it actually caused someones premature death through over the top and not needed violence" Something the actual Robbers themselves have admitted since in T.V. interviews. -

Another unkown one for 37114 to figure out Bad pic' but shows an even worse paler yellow patched up paint job. Early '80's possibly '81 as i worked around there back then. On the Liv'-Man' passing Leigh Golf club, Kenyon. -
What a year indeed CME its made us stop and think! And is it really worth it wasting time with all the rubbish we collect that only sits around most of the time doing nowt and gathering dust! This is a council house and i've been in it since 1976, since i was 13, i took over the tenancy in 1986 when my parents retired and bought a retirement bunglelow. So for 34 years it's been my own families home where i brought my own kids up. They don't want it, i've asked them if they want to take it over, No way! they say and who could blame 'em Would be easy to do an house swap for a smaller two bed or flat as there is a big need for these three beds' around here, but what do you tell anyone who is interested in doing a swap when they ask why are you moving from such a lovely place? My best hope is to find a bigger load of scum bags than these are and move them in here, pay back is a b!tch. I got the wife to put a request on the local face book page for me asking for a home hobbyist with a lathe who could turn down an axle and fit my lawnmower cog on for me, within minutes we had found a great guy, an ex engineer who had every machine going in his back yard workshop, ten minutes of a trip later and a few quid later he had took a skimming off the shaft and had press fitted the drive cog and the wheels back on for me. Weather do'snt look too good for this weeks loco' frame fettling.

Thanks Mike and all the well wishers. Well we've finally decided that enough is enough folks, and and for our own sanity and health we will move out as soon as we possibly can, i can carry on building my loco' and wagons and using the track for testing things out in the mean time, and the track can be easily lifted and taken/used elsewhere in time i'm sure. It's going to take a while and may even be as long away as next Spring before we can make a final move, so i'll be cranking up the welder and posting all the wagon and loco' progress as usual whilst we are still here. The little camper van seen in the pics' restoration had ground to an halt after three summers of slow fettling on it, but it will deffo' be sold off this week and we'll be needing all the cash to put towards an house move or for use as a rental deposit no doubt. I think these weird times have forced a lot of people to re-think, plan and evaluate their lives afresh, i have just read that the sales of motorhomes have shot through the roof so we could'nt have picked a better time to move the van on.
