  1. You could try dipping the motor in methylated spit and letting it dry off. I did this to my Bachmann Standard 4MT tank and it ran great after. Dave:)
  2. Thanks for that. I’ll have a go at the weekend.
  3. Well I’ve just received class 24 no 5099 and I have to say it’s wonderful! I’m very impressed both with the level of detail, the sounds and the running. One tiny thing I wish they’d left the head code discs off as I’m worried about coursing damage to the paint work when I change them.
  4. Hi Mr B Great work on your conversion! out of interest where did get the window frames over the tablet catcher? as I plan to do a couple of Scottish class 24/1 for my upcoming layout. Thanks Dave:)
  5. Well I got one in the sale as an early Christmas present! And I must say when I ran her on my test track she ran faultlessly. I'm very impressed with the running and the level of detail. I only operate on DC.
  6. My layout is in a 8x6 unheated shed so all my locos, coaches & wagons get to come in the house at the end of the day.

    Hi all

Hi all my name is Dave. I'm new on here However I've been building model railways for a long time! I'm mainly interested in the GWR/BR Western Region and am designing/building OO gauge railway set in Wales. I am also interested in Train Simulator 2017 and model boats. Dave:)
