  1. Hi Mike, I have to say that the layout photos look great already.
  2. Hi Mike, you have the planking spot on for my eyes. Shame about the glue but you will get it done.
  3. I have been trying to finish some of my 7mm models. I am not sure if I am completely happy with this coach although there is still some tidying up to do.
  4. Waiting to take her train away, while the crew ready the engine.
  5. Not a breath or it might collapse. Literally just resting. The 2-4-0 tank is moving along, this really is a delightful little engine from the London Road Models kit . Hopefully I will get the chassis running next week.
  6. The first two coaches in the 2pm corridor are up on their wheels,( ignore the roofs as they belong to other coaches) still a fair bit to do. I have put the bodies together for most of them. Although I'm still waiting for the bogies for the 12 wheelers. .
  7. Hi Mike the plasticard for the wagons body. Also for the solebars.
  8. Nice Mike, what thickness plasticard do you use?
  9. Hi Mike ,the internal weatheringlooks really good to me .

Hi I will start putting photos etc on here but at the moment I am busy running my wife to the hospital every day for radiotherapy.
  11. I have only just stumbled on this thread . Really good modelling
  12. This is stunning work, very very nice indeed
  13. A bit of an update on the Dining coaches. I have made the ends as a separate assembly as there is panelling on the front of the coach which will need to be painted after this I will have to wait for the six wheeled bogies to become available which is in hand.
  14. All looking amazing Mike. I hope that the Coal Tank is a good idea. John
  15. Hi , I have started the 2pm corridor coaches I am putting the bodies together first working my way from the front of the train backwards. The dining coaches need some thinking . What I am going to do is make the veranda end separate,it will be bolted to the main body after painting as the en of the coach has paneling which will need lining. This just a dry fit as I feel my way. The panel which is separate at the moment goes on the other side of the door. When I dig out the blutac I'll post some more photos.
  16. A question folks, the platforms follow a curve so would the paving slabs follow the curve or not ?. I think that they would follow the curve.
  17. A view of what I hope it will look like. I did a similar photo of London Road which I thought came out quite nicely.
