  1. Hmm. To be fair to Key, arrangements were made very quickly to return the faulty loco (within two days) back in August, but as I say, I haven't heard anything since and on the occasions that I've phoned I've been told someone is looking into it and will email me in due course. As I say, my patience is wearing a little thin at this stage, seeing as A/S quote a month's turnaround to repair faulty locos.
  2. Is anyone else waiting on a repaired Bradley Manor from Key? It has been two months since I sent it back to Key and every time I phone I'm told I'll be sent an email with an update, but that email never arrives. Patience is wearing thin. Anyone else in the same boat?
  3. As an update to this, a Parcel Force chap collected the parcel containing my defective Bradley Manor. Hopefully I'll get a working one back in due course...
  4. My Bradley Manor arrived yesterday and like others have said, looks superb. Unfortunately, when running it in the forwards direction it decides to stop / is very jerky around corners (second and third radius), yet the firebox light is still active. (I have a DC layout for reference). Reported this to Accurascale live chat yesterday lunchtime and within a few mins - and a video being sent over - was advised to contact Key Publishing. Key is arranging for a Parcel Force to collect my model, so hopefully it can be fixed soon. Top marks to both companies for customer service so far. Hopefully there aren't too many other Manors with the same fault.
  5. Thanks so much for your help, Corbs - I have filled in the form. Really appreciate your speedy responses on here.
  6. Thanks for the speedy response. I don't have a back-to-back gauge I'm afraid. However, if this helps, from the inside of the flange to the inside of the flange it measures approx 15mm. Thanks, Daniel.
  7. Picked up a Holly Bank in the Rails sale. Ran it for half an hour going forwards around the layout and it was great. Sent it backwards and it seems to derail on a third radius curve. Doesn't seem to be a track issue, as everything else runs fine and it only seems to be on one specific curve going backwards, which is strange. My loco also derails - backwards and forwards - when negotiating points in quick succession. Does anyone else's locos have these problems? If it helps, I have Hornby track.
  8. Just to be clear (I have now edited my post), the deodorant was in a wash bag - rather than being loose in a rucksack - and was taken out by the security during the bag check back in January. I made the point that I was planning to check into a hotel after the match had ended, but it was still binned. I was just echoing points made by other posters that security checks at Ally Pally are OTT. Can't comment on The London Festival of Railway Modelling as I didn't attend this year.
  9. This is Ally Pally's policy, unfortunately - I attend the snooker every year and the bag search gets worse and worse; this year my deodorant from my wash bag had to be binned (I checked into the hotel after the match finished) and on another day they tried to take a metal fork away that lives in the bottom of my rucksack in a clear plastic bag.
  10. Yes, received that email but by the time I'd clicked through they had all gone.
  11. I know this is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but if anyone knows of anywhere that has a NR DBSO in stock any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  12. I'm sure this has been covered in the 25 pages, but did crimson liveried locos in streamlined form (eg 6229) haul the Coronation Scot set, please? If not, I guess I'm best off waiting for Hornby to (hopefully) release the coaches in LMS maroon? Ta.
  13. Hi Ben, Mike, Just wondering if you have an estimate of when the IPAs are due, please? The 'projects' page says Dec-Feb at the moment. Thanks.
