About Me

My earliest experience of railway modelling involved creating the scenery and constructing buildings for my brother's boxroom layout back in the 1960s. I was very briefly one of the few female members of the 2mm Association, but work commitments left me with little spare time back then. Through my interest in local history, I returned to modelmaking in 2017, and am currently involved in producing two Far North Line period layouts for display in our local visitor centre. I love creating micro models and dioramas and enjoying taking part in the BRM Cake Box Challenge.
