  1. Sorry, last time I spoke with Andy he mentioned he was working on a number of diagrams. Probably best to send him a message, which might move them up the to do list!
  2. Isinglass have been working on bringing out some NER stock for some time. Having built a twin and a comp, I can say even with limited model skills they come out quite nicely.
  3. There used to be a Gentleman who was myopic and would come into W&H every Saturday and stand over the Precision Paints stands and tell whoever was about that the Pre-Grouping was colour was wrong. I always assumed that he would had to have been over 80 to have seen the original in use and what with the variations mentioned above and the memory issue he was talking out of his hat. However, I was never able to discuss the matter over a pint and this, I would think, have made it much more enjoyable.
  4. From what I remember the fish at the Silver Grid in Sunderland didn't need any help on that score.
  5. I have a similar problem in Canada where the courier company charges $20 for the privilege and then tries to charge duty as well.
  6. True but it is only one group of guys who have to receive it and then get it out to us!
  7. They are getting further west, won't be long until they reach Nova Scotia! Fingers crossed.
  8. Try supporting Sunderland, they start off near the bottom and it only gets worse! 😂
  9. Second email arrived today, great that something is being given to charity, but I don't want one GT3 let alone two! Still taking it for amusement value. Don't really want to unsubscribe just because the man wants to sell models.
  10. This has spurred me into action as I didn't get an email. But have now paid for 37001. Hope it can be sent by Royal Mail.
  11. My plan is to wait until there is a real locomotive to record.
  12. I haven't seen an image of the inner end to show how coupling is made. If it is with a NEM socket, then perhaps it is possible to do in 4mm what the NNR have done in 1:1 and enable a set to be run as a solo 4 carriage unit?
  13. Very good price, I'm looking forward to it arriving.
  14. Looks like you would need to smooth off the bump where the coupling hook should fit and then drill a hole for the Instanter hook. Whether there is enough space to prevent buffer lock when the coupling is linked I wouldn't know.
  15. Didn't Hornby magnetize the driving wheels so they would stick to the track? Must be for the Australian market?
  16. I emailed TMC last week. The models are about to be shipped but they haven't sent out invoices yet.
  17. So, you seem to be quite popular then! Well done! The quality of the models and the service make the awards well deserved.
  18. Actually 53' is the norm in North America, perhaps Accurascale are going to make a Big Boy?
  19. The RSPCA won't like it but the mare will have a smile on her face!
  20. Well I think we need a fully jointed pit pony to pull the chaldron waggons.
  21. The Guys from Accurascale are everywhere! Pretty amazing if you ask me!
  22. Has there been any news on the G5? Still showing Q2 2023 for delivery. It will be an expensive time for me, anybody know the lottery numbers?
