  1. It is correct on the other side so looks like they just copied it from one side to another. The 2 car ones had the inward opening door on the corridor end on both side not just the second man's. But either way the doors are wrong or the grap handles are wrong.
  2. They only built 15 DTCL driving trailers (10 midland and 5 eastern) with the last on be withdrawn in November 1989 from old oak common. With 2 more DTCL until December 1992 in departmental use. The ones that got network south east was 8 DMBS and 2 TCL. Strange still that class 104 got network southeast even the person in charge of network south east didn't know when asked a couple of years ago why they did them and not other units like class 101/8 which were better.
  3. CAD looking good so far but I have noticed it missing the door stoppers on the door and bodyside of the secondmans side same with the centre car.
  4. There website had a picture of it with a 'sticker' saying late april but was only on for a day or to with no other information l.
  5. I think they said they would do a class 120 if the class 117 sold good but think they will probably do the class 104 as they made more of them. I am hoping they scale down the class 120 and do it 4mm as if you can in 7mm and it sells well it is more than likely to sell well in 4mm and seems high up on the 4mm DMU wish lists
  6. Is the main reason for the strange coupling arrangement so they can have 2 motors on 1 decoder as in my opinion 2 motors is a bit over the top. A coupling like the Bachmann class 101 is good as you only need 1 decoder and you can still mix it with other ones like the class 105/108 if you don't mind having 2 decoder. Putting a class 117 DMS shell on a class 121 chassis might need a bit of modification but making a small amount of seating shouldn't be that difficult.
  7. The class 121 and 117? (51385?) will be the easy bit the 104 to 117 will be more difficult but it mainly depends on what type of connector Heljan decide to use.
  8. Most of the units running in the Thames Valley in the early 90s were running as hybrids as they were coming to the end of the life. Also lots of hybrid sets appeared went the 15x sprinter were delayed.
  9. They were used up until 1982 on the branch and based out of Stratford I think.
  10. Late 1981/Early 1982 as the Tyne and wear metro opened taking over alot/all of there work. https://www.brcw.co.uk/decline https://www.railcar.co.uk/type/class-104/decline
  11. The latest recorded with speed whiskers was September 1963 not March 1963 my bad. https://www.railcar.co.uk/images/9270
  12. The last class 104 recorded with speed whiskers was march 1963. https://www.brcw.co.uk/liveries
