  1. Ellis are the new bearings to be on the axle ends or on the bogie side pivot points? ( these having a lot of side movement on the MK 1’s)
  2. Will the Kadee couplings be placed at the Kadee manufactures recommended height? The Darstead MK1’s coupling height is way too high, thus not able to couple to other stock.
  3. Tower models, Hattons plus many more. take a look at traders on the Gauge O guild web site.
  4. Having spoke to a gentleman on the Dapol stand on Saturday at the Kettering O gauge meet, he suggested the coaches would likely now appear in the Autumn.
  5. Nigel thank you for taking your time, input and information. It seems I’ll have to do some more bench work and testing. Nigel
  6. I’ve followed the above advice from you all, and success in doing the waltz. But I need to ask Nigel about his use of the electromagnet (watched his video) he used. What volts would it be and did you connect directly to the decoder or via a ‘buck converter’, resistors etc? You can gather I’m not too good with electronics. i have tried a 5 volt electromagnet but my decoder (zimo 645) now reads ‘error 2’ and reset! Any advice would most definitely be much appreciated, thanks Nigel
  7. I too agree that the sides look so much better and improved. If these are to be released sooner rather that latter I will also place an order for maroon also blood and custard coaches Nigel
  8. Is there any chance of a rerun of the Mark 1 coaches? Have sent a couple of emails about these but no response as yet thanks Nigel
  9. Thank you all for the suggestions. Those give me something different to try.
  10. I’m using Milliput for filling and ‘building up’ on models, but I would like to use another product (if it exists) for much finer / thinner parts of a model, ie; small holes? Does anyone have any suggestions, please? Nigel
  11. 1. Irdot-1 are not affected by lightning in an exhibition hall, well at least not on mine when at shows. 2. I use Heathcote and Blocksignaling both work well. Blocksignaling has different settings so easily adjusted. 3. Yes you can see where they are fitted into the track. Megapoints is another possibility, this relies on track occupancy Nigel
  12. Dave, looking great. comment, will the tender "coal" be removable, (i think it gives the appearance of being 'toy' like) Nigel
  13. Paul Brilliant, I've copied those CV's into my Class 15 and it's great to be able to show the differing head codes, something I know I would never have been able to achieve myself, there are just great.. The amount of unused capability of these decoders is amazing. Thank you Nigel
