    Happy days with British Leyland cars. We had ten Marina Coupe's on test as Panda cars. (I was Old Bill, if you hadn't of realised). One survived being written off after a year. It was the one I had put a 3'x2' slab in the boot to stop the ar5e end sliding about all over the place. (They were the 1.3 engine L versions) Allegro's (SHIITTE). Square steering wheels to start with. I wrote one off on duty and got disciplined. Fined a days pay. The hearing was at short notice and on one of my rest days!

    Somebody recently described the Jamieson kits as "an aid to scratch building". I found it amusing!
