  1. The show guide is now available. Please note that we will not have printed copies available at the show, though we will have a one-page information sheet that you will be given on entry. https://www.nottingham-modelrailway.org.uk/showguidespring2024.pdf
  2. One of the layouts coming to the show, Andy Gautrey's Central Alonzo Mill, will be cover-featured in the September issue of Continental Modeller.
  3. Just in time for our Spring Show at the weekend, the Nottingham MRS have revamped our website. It's now an accurate source for our show dates, our available layouts, and where you can see them. Further features will be coming soon. http://www.nottingham-modelrailway.org.uk/

  5. David, we're now shut until the February half-term, and after that reopen at Easter.
  6. Here are a couple of photos of Millhouse Lane as it now is.
  7. I realise that it's more than eight years since he asked the question, but Grafarman might like to know that Millhouse Lane is very much still in existence. It went into storage for a while, but then found a home as the resident O Gauge layout at Ruddington Model Rail Club, at the Great Central Railway Nottingham. It's been reduced a bit in size and re-arranged to fit the available space, but Allan Downes' buildings still impress visitors. We try to have it operating, along with the club's 00 Gauge recreation of Ruddington Station in the 1950s, and our Thomas layout, 10:30-4 whenever the GCRN is operating trains, though this is dependent on having enough volunteers available (Sundays tend to be better than Saturdays).
