This layout was originally envisaged as a running track for the owners collection of LMS models but the idea developed into a scenic layout with storage loops featuring an impression of Scout Green Level Crossing. It is not intended to be an exact copy just an attempt to convey the essence of the place as it was in the 1940s. A lonely level crossing on a main line in the middle of the moors. The layout was started in 2007 and took about 5 years to complete. It has been to several exhibitions in the North and has featured in the LNWR Society Journal and The 0 Gauge Guild Gazette.
