73107 arrived this morning. Looks stunning. unfortunately Digitrains do not provide a sound file for a 73. Howes have provided that and hopefully will arrive early next week.

The 73 arrived this morning. Looks superb! Bag of bits haven't a clue where they go though. More details in the user manual than usual.

Hi Ian, I have not seen any recent pictures, my guess is we wont until they either appear on here or retailers update their respective pictures. On another topic any updates on the shed? Regards Julian.

Not been able to post much as for the last few weeks as Iv been at my Mothers off and on looking after her. Blue 58021 needs her bits attaching and like 58050 weathering which I will hopefully be able to do when I return in the near future.

Always interesting to see which ones sell best. The 58’s appear to be the original as built livery. Maybe the same will be true with the 73’s. Makes me wonder what risk manufacturers take bringing out so many liveried, as an initial release, scaled back it appears from the original announcement.

Today 58021 returned from having sound installed. This one has a Zimo chip in and two speakers like 58050 and is loud!! Great sound.

Looks great does that. Can I ask where you get your modern image tail lamps please? Regards Julian. -
Just had my 58 sound fitted. ESU with active braking and twin speakers. Heres the link

Class 58 arrived back yesterday and as Zimos are rarer than rockin horse poo, I went back to an ESU c/w active braking, twin speakers. For some strange reason, Heljan went for a different colour yellow on the engine sides, hopefully weathering will tone that down. Name plates fitted, excellent realtec transfers and extras from the bag added.

Ade's 7mm layout: Malmesbury station
Baggies1961 replied to Adrian Stevenson's topic in 7mm+ modelling
Hi Ade, Hope your Dad is on the mend. My Mum who is 91, is 200 miles away in the Cotswolds and has terminal cancer. She has some district and palliative care nurses calling in on her. Shortly, myself an two brothers are going to spend a week with her in turns so I guess like you, everything will be parked. Best wishes Julian. -

Thanks Chris, Wish I would have asked when I ordered my two. Im now looking to see if I have got transfers so I can put the military number plates on and call signs on the sides. Not sure if railtec do these. KR Julian. -

A bit more work on the Spartans tonight. Tracks ready to glue on to the chassis tomorrow. Storage bin to add and pick out additional features. Then weather.
