  1. I like the pub overlooking the estuary, which would be like the one at Cockwood. Cheers, Ade.
  2. Hi Guys, these came into work today and I thought I would share them here. I have sold these in the past and they always do well. They seem to have been a popular souvenir with British Soldiers. Coming up in my next sale at work on December 8th. Cheers, Ade.
  3. Once again a nice location to do some modelling. I got the rest of the van detailing finished and after getting home this afternoon I took a couple of pics of the van on the passing loop. Next step will be to add some window bars once I can find some suitable material to make them from. Cheers, Ade.
  4. Are you going to sound chip this one too? Cheers, Ade.
  5. Enjoying the September sunshine and breakfast outside

  6. Got the day off today before setting off in the van to stay at a Vineyard for the weekend (what could possibly go wrong ) So fitted the rest of the figures to the other half of the B set, the Railcar and the Autocoach. Cheers, Ade.
  7. Hi Phil, not me in this one! But I am driving a few of my Panniers Cheers, Ade.
  8. Hi John, the wash is by Citadel and is called "Agrax Earthshade". It is a very dark brown wash and is easy to use being water based. Hi All, thanks for all the kind comments and likes. Cheers, Ade.
  9. Spent today painting all the Modelu figures I bought last weekend. Fitted three into one of the chocolate and cream B set carriages. I thought the man reading the newspaper and the well dressed lady looked like 1st class passengers so they went into that compartment. The man in the flat cap looked more appropriate for 3rd class. I have also fitted the crew to the Sentinel. So that project in now complete. Cheers, Ade.
  10. Hi Chris, I have repainted my Sentinel too. You can see it in my thread. I did the same steps as John. Have a go! Cheers, Ade.
  11. Having seen George‘s workshop I can attest to how clean and organised it is. I hope to aspire to the same. Cheers , Ade.
  12. Sept edition of Model Rail Magazine has an article on former steam sheds in the diesel era which might give some inspiration?
  13. Talking at the weekend about this with the chaps from Dapol. One of their customers could remember the autocoaches in the pre war GWR era and was adamant that the roofs were never white. So much so, they did him a custom grey roof on one as he was such a good client! Cheers, Ade.
  14. Thanks for all the comments as usual. I wanted to show a coach with a weathered white roof without it looking like the later all grey painted version. Cheers, Ade.
  15. Back home now after our two weeks of travels. I decided to finish off weathering one of the Autocoaches. I was inspired after seeing one at the SVR O gauge show this weekend. I have shown my other one so you can see the difference in the roof and the panels. This other one will also get the treatment in due course. Cheers, Ade.
  16. Short thread but I hope you like the photos. Cheers, Ade.
  17. The trip out to Highley this morning. We were going to bike it, but the lure of the train was too great…
  18. Hi Guys, just a few photos from our trip to the SVR for the O Gauge get together. Photos of the show proper are in the 7mm forum. These just show the loco’s and stations at Hampton Loade and Highley. We arrived last night after moving down from the East Lancs Railway. The views of the locos here are from the camp site. Cheers, Ade.
  19. I very much liked “Little Burford”. This featured GWR Terrier “Portishead” which was fitted with a water vapour smoke unit by TRS trains. I had seen these online but very taken with the effect in person. Smoke from the chimney and steam from the cylinders.
  20. Bus on a bridge. This layout could be controlled from a phone
  21. Sheep always seem to be popular on the forum and makes a change on a bridge
  22. Some views now of the exhibits. Here is Bridgnorth and a superb display of locomotives.
