    Had a nice trip to Kettering and met up with a few forum friends. No big purchases just the usual bits and bobs from Squires. Here are a few snaps from today. Cheers, Ade.

    Nothing been happening over the winter. But off to the Guild show at Kettering at the weekend. So looking forward to that. Not been having much free time this past year as my Dad needs increasing care as he approaches his 90th birthday in April. I have looked after him for five years alone and only started to get help last June (after a bad fall ) with a carer coming in to get him up. But hopefully now he will be getting more care after an assessment with a social worker a couple of weeks ago and some trips to the doctor. He is weak on his legs and prone to falls. Sadly now Dementia is starting to kick in. But I cannot complain, the main thing is to keep him safe and happy at home. Cheers, Ade.

    Hi Guys, we have a few lots of wagon plates, makers plates, bridge plates, etc coming up at work on March 5th. Most are original but ignore the shed plates as they are repro. Cheers, Ade.

    We visited today and it was very busy. Managed to ride a good selection of trains. Sadly there was a medical emergency on one train with a passenger taken ill. This delayed all the trains by about 30 mins from mid afternoon onwards. We had intended to catch the 4 o’clock 9F hauled train, but with it being delayed we gave it a miss. Still a great day out.     Spent an enjoyable couple of hours at the show this morning. Bacon cobs were to the usual high standard and the smell of bacon hit you before you even got in the door 😄 I took a few pics of the different layouts on display which I will add here. Cheers, Ade.

    Just wanted to add my thanks to the organisers for putting on the shows over the years. I first attended in 2018 and have attended each year since. I had attended a couple of smaller shows in 2018 when I decided to return to the hobby after a 45 year break. It was this show which convinced me to go for O gauge. Thanks for memories. Cheers, Ade.
