Many congratulations! I must ask you though, where did you get those glasses from? I have a GWR pint glass and shot glass from STEAM Swindon, and at the Redditch show this weekend there were two EWS champagne glasses for sale. 😀

Hi Liam, thanks!
We bought the glasses a couple of years ago from the gift shop at Highley Engine Shed on the Severn Valley Railway. They are modern replicas.
Cheers, Ade.

Small update as the new Siphon Wagon arrived this morning. Very pleased with it. Nice and free running. Cheers, Ade. -
Wow long journey in one of those! Last photos from today. Great event and will be back again next year. Cheers, Ade.

This morning we got to the traction engine field plus miniature steam. Being a Sunday there were also more classic cars present.

Not had time to visit the traction engine field today so going to do that tomorrow. They are going to extend the miniature line over the winter. My mate Jamie was the driver today.

We were last here in April for the model railway show. Since then a new platform shelter has been added to the miniature line. Also Strawberry Park Station now has a building which today houses a model display. Warley had a stand so picked up my ticket for November NEC show

I just hooked the lamp up to a 9 volt battery. This was for the one lamp. Once you connect the other platform lamp up it dims nicely. Just a rush bodge job for the pic 😀 -
I have no idea sorry.

Just managed to do a few little jobs today like painting tops of the buffer footplates on the GWR locomotives black. Ran the Railcars today. Had a go at doing some night time photos of the Razoredge car. Cheers, Ade. -
Glad you’re keeping busy 👍

Hi Andy, any updates on the layout? Cheers, Ade.

Hi Russ, with you saying a Spanish Company I suspect it will be these? https://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/51-modelling-textured-rolling-pins I have dealt with them for other scenic items and had no problems. Usual disclaimer applies. Cheers, Ade.

Love the sound of a class 20. Takes me back to my train spotting days in my youth at Nottingham. Cheers, Ade. -

Hi Guys, no updates on the layout since my last post back in June. Sadly my Dad, who is 89, had a fall and ended up in hospital for two weeks in June. Only cuts and bruises but he also had an infection with fluid around his heart. I am his sole carer and have been for the past five years. Needless to say Railway Modelling and life in general has taken to back seat to looking after him this past weeks. Hopefully I will get a bit of a running session this weekend as our friends brother is over to stay and he is keen to see the layout. Cheers, Ade. -

We caught the train back down the junction and then rode the length of the line again back to Parkend. Nice line which runs through some nice scenery. Cheers, Ade.
