Class 37, by Accurascale
Markwj replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Bit fed up with mine bogie chain came out (away from the body) tried for about an hour to get it back in but in the end the fitting came away from the chain and that's that so I lost patience and pulled the chain off! Only I know its missing bit annoyed its happened on a brand new model. So beware of the bogie chains I guess. Mark -
I think the models will complement each other quite well and provide different running numbers. I do wonder why these are efe branded rather than Bachmann- is it to do with the factory used or Bachmann just trying to build the brand?

Class 37, by Accurascale
Markwj replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
To be fair to Albie I sometimes don't think Accurascale help themselves as while their timescales and we all understand this are given in good faith just recently there has been some slippage. That is to say we are told there will be an update on something this week but slips into next or that the next batch of 37's are due Friday but its the following Friday etc. Maybe they should be a little more vague with the timescales and we can all cut them some slack too. The models will be here when they get here unless you can get out and give the boat a push! -
Thanks she looks great- can you also make it look like we occasionally vacuum the carpet?

Got to say this email reads better than the last one. Unfortunately not for me as not my interest but good luck!

Some of the allegations in the letter are pretty poor (like the allegations about his health) but I was expecting to be offered money by a Nigerian prince or something by the end. I found it in poor taste and unprofessional.

I too wish Simon a happy retirement always polite on email and at shows I found. A lasting legacy would be a loco named after him- how about it GBRF??? (Would be ironic if they named a 69 after him which are being done by Bachmann)! Also how about a guest column in BRM- bet he has some stories? Mark

Sorry maybe a bit off topic but which loco was Richard stood in front of and could it be a clue for a future release? Or was it released in these announcements?

Already done got mine last year (Diana one). Royal ones in the res inspired livery would be good though

There hasn't been an efe speculation thread started but am expecting some more of the pacers maybe the non weathered versions.

Accurascale Class 55 Deltic - 4mm scale
Markwj replied to Andy Y's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
These chains really are a pain have totally removed from one model and another only has 3 in situ, I just cannot locate the part which goes into the body and then with all the messing have scraped the paint off the part so decided to do without! Not ordered a second batch one but am tempted to just to have a complete model. -
