Did enjoy he show and felt the Lion segment whitewashed over the titfield incident as it was never mentioned or implied they wanted to do the titfield thunderbolt loco. I wouldn’t have expected anything else though to be honest, they are not going to say they cocked up on TV.

To be fair I have had no issue but then I just bung them in and run it I don’t routinely change cv’s etc so for finer control they may not be great.

I bought my GT3 via rails of Sheffield so I have no feedback email but I would think if any comments good or bad are truthful and fair they shouldn’t have any complaints. It will be interesting to see if they repeat the exercise though.

I would imagine there will be some polybulks announced given the recent run for rails of Sheffield. Could be for the collectors club maybe. Other than that no clue but does anyone else use the announcements to count down the year ie only 4 announcements until Christmas!

Have managed to chip my 31, bit of a dogs dinner but it works! Use of choc block as got sick of trying to push all those wires into the small screw terminal. Chip is the Laisdcc large decoder £45 from digitrains, not bothered with the fan though.

Have been in and spoke with Roger, he has a few ideas of where to go with this but also doesn’t expect anything to happen for a few years yet such is the legal process etc. Mark

According to Blackpool gazette (and Roger has provided a statement) tower models are going to have to move to accommodate the new campus for Blackpool and the fylde college. This is being funded by the new levelling up money. Obviously this only broke yesterday. Good luck to Roger and all involved.

Did post this in the Dcc fitting forum too but does anyone know of a guide on how to fit a decoder to this model, took the body off and don’t know where to start! Thanks in advance mark

So I got myself a cheap class 31 and thought I would try to fit the Laisdcc large scale decoder for o gauge. Opened up the body and was presented with this lot! Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide have tried Googling with no success. Thanks in advance. I have dcc fitted and hard wired OO locos before but this is another level cheers mark

Watched the first episode with the wife and we both enjoyed it even provoking comments and interest from the missus who usually doesn’t take an interest. I did note a Bachmann super voyager box and an Oxford rails box (thought it may be a mk3 box) at various points in the programme.

Thanks Phil, I haven't seen the email you have ,my opinion was at best an assumption. Once Hornby have started to inform others of their intentions they start to lose control of the information as we have seen with 2 leaks. I can only go off previous years when leaks have occurred and the world continued to rotate that Hornby outwardly at least didn't seem to get their knickers in a twist over it. However being within the media and hobby as you are you may know differently? Cheers Mark
