  1. Wasnt insinuating there was, actually a reasonable decision, can feel their pain regarding show organisation, easier herding cats really
  2. 'Guaranteed to work on all (current range of) Bachmann Models.............
  3. Bring on the 'what about my blah blah blah' anyway, people wont read anything and expect it handed to them even when its right in front of them A sad loss, they were the only big UK retailer who made buying items from Ireland painless after the 'B' thing, being registered for VAT in Ireland, my last order arrived last week after being placed in the early hours of Christmas Morning and always got items within days and not weeks. Efficiency was as good as their prices
  4. Naturally - but people just have to get their opinion out there, whether it is good, bad or just un-necessary.
  5. Warley's definitely lost its shine, just not what it once was. I think the icing on the cake was one of the ever helpful Warley stewards walking around just after 3pm on Sunday taking away the stand numbers at the back of the hall - made navigating around all of the smaller stands impossible, hard to get your bearings. All for the sake of saving a few A4 laminated sheets for next year. Not like they were made out of reinforced titanium Lets see what April 24 brings, same venue, different organisers
  6. All set for tomorrow, last shower was the 3rd of November, been using WD40 as deodorant, rucksack full of bricks for side swiping folk
  7. Surprised and not surprised really, like a lot of model railway show organisational tasks it is a thankless one, especially when you are relying on other people. Lets see if its missed
  8. Floor plan http://thewarleyshow.co.uk/pdf/2023 floor plan.pdf Traders List https://thewarleyshow.co.uk/traders.html - Layouts to follow
  9. Best to order today - and not tomorrow. Less of these being made than 37's / 55's so dont miss out....
  10. Not really, from what I've seen this is a common thing, not just on this thread, or forum
  11. Would you expect to be able to charge your IPhone 14 with a 1980s/1990s Ericsson or Motorola charger though? Same as hooking up a PS5 / Xbox Series X to that old reliable Ferguson TV Set thats been part of the family since 1985..... Just doesnt happen these days. New technology requires new supporting technology, its as simple as that
  12. This is the 'dented' end of 50033 where an unfortunate person was hit on the line, it was re-panelled when the Fifty Fund took it on long term loan, along with replacing the grabrails at the other end that 50033 had lost. The pre-stressed metal over a frame meant the panels were easily dented by contact
  13. There were 199 TOPS Class 40's, as D322 was written off in the mid 60's, hence the pioneer D200 becoming 40122 I dont know, KR were desperate to sell off GT3's in fictitious liveries and are developing more of them for some reason, even after the others didnt sell. Perhaps leave the mainstream models to the more established, professional manufacturers and stick with more niche models - oh wait they struggle with those too
  14. Exactly 33's 71's 73's and all of the older SR EMU/DEMU stock were the same, back when the 'Regions' might aswell have been considered totally separate - interesting that the 33 is taller than the saloon in this photo too
  15. More back in stock according to an Accurascale email today - If you want one - Now is the time
  16. Ill be fitting a Rails/DCC Concepts chip later that has the built in stay alive, purely as I have some available
  17. Haydock Foundry 0-6-0WT 'Bellerophon' Bulleid Leader Lickey Banker Big Bertha At least they would be made correctly (or marked as not feasible to make it as it should be) and not '90% completed', along with being funded correctly and not having a shop provide the funds required to produce a model
  18. As the Ariana Grande lyrics proclaimed - 'Thank You - Next' Dont hang around if on the off chance you want to buy anything though - lower production runs = higher prices.
  19. You are better off asking questions here as the slightest hint of negativity/critique on facebook sees you blocked from their facebook page. At least kr models (pronounced modellls) isnt in direct control of what is posted here
  20. 92006's ones were auctioned for charity recently enough by GBRf. Odd's of them adorning @McC's bathroom wall?
