It was a shame to miss this year's Southern Hemisphere extravaganza, however it looks like a good weekend was had!
-
Is it a BDA?
-
Must be an F class...
-
-
Thanks Andy, that will definitely help, I'll have a ponder.
-
Thanks Nigel. I thought I'd check my assumptions before ordering to NZ!

Morning all, Currently building two D2026 motor car vans however the reccomended components no longer exist. Please can someone assist with the following - either confirmation or recommendations please! 2-004 currently 5.25mm wheels, 14.2mm axle (should this be 7mm disc?) 7mm fitted as per diagram book 2-464 4'6" spring, J hanger, LMS? 2-419 Mystery axlebox (flat fronted LMS?) 2-121 Buffers (possibly coach buffers?)
-
Since I last posted here wagon 42 for the winter season left the workbench along with a couple of mermaids (which I would thoroughly recommend), an LMS van, Chivers tube with assoc fettling and some conflats. Next stop LMS/BR CCTs and the sunny painting season!

We may have to collectively pick your brains Rich - I'm keen to put together a small rake to keep a Cambrian 24 busy...
-
@Yorkshire Square in my case I buggered up a few then got given a box of whitemetal centred wheels... all without crank pins.
-
Morning all, I note that most wheels are of the Mk5 design but only crankpins for mk6 are stocked - is there a plan to restock to help use up the remaining Mk5 wheels?

Team, has anyone written up or provided notes for using 2-525/6/7? I'm torn between removing the headstocks or chopping the chassis down. Additionally 2-330 seems to be too deep to match the bufferbeams?
-
Two Higgs Conflats and a Harris 1/108 wrapped up tonight. Cleaning and printed buffers to come obviously.
-
One more through the shops, printed parts remaining. The plate has been a fun build - I may need more!
-
One of these almost certainly was motivated by Jerry. One less wagon clogging the gloat box and absolutely useless for my needs. The others are a step towards building more plain workaday wagons using the fencehouses chassis.

From the smaller upside down area group - two Harris minerals and an assoc V23 on the bench, with two Ex Southern opens departing. I'm rather grateful for the printed buffers and axleboxes which have sped up the process.
-
Ahh, one from the Queensland group?
-
One dropped van straightened, two Chivers open C rustled up - fingers crossed decals won't take too long to reach NZ.
-
The harris kit is the rolls royce solution.
-
Looks like a neat job despite the quirks or an older etch

What N gauge do you want to see from Accurascale?
Matt.S. replied to Ed-farms's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Siphons are a huge open goal here - the Dapol one was average. A modern 37 would really compliment the newer locos from farish and others. Of course, N is really missing a 25/3 as a loco that made it's way everywhere on modellable trains -
