  1. I have a rake of N gauge Dapol FEA spine wagons which I should like to be able to run EMPTY of load, as per prototypical in some instances. The problem is keeping them on the track when running unloaded as they have no weight built into them and the fitting of 5 mg weights is impractical as they would be highly visible. Anyone else with a similar problem? On another topic, has anyone recently purchased from new any Dapol wagons, such as JNA Falcons, IOA ballast wagons or even any Mk3 coaches where, when coupled together straight from the box, the NEM couplers sit at differing heights and thus become uncoupled on the move? I have tried the alternative couplers supplied with the accessory packs and it makes little difference. I've also tried the Dapol Easyshunt couplers as an experiment, which also fail to solve the problem The fault lies, in my experience, with the moveable NEM bracket being badly fitted from manufacture. I'm told that small Bluetack deposits on each face of the joining couplers may keep the wagons together, but really the fault lies with Dapol, either in design or quality control. Frankly, this problem gives me cause to question the future purchase of Dapol products where they may be required to run as a rake.
  2. Yes he did, he had a website offering his services to build Model Railway layouts. He did actually complete some too, if you read the article it tells you the one he completed for someone was dangerous.
  3. The amount of Compensation above to be paid back is only 25% of the total amount of the money he took from the 4 people in question. I was 1 of them and I gave him £7000 with absolutely nothing to show for it. I will receive 25% of that back from the pool of £4000 compensation to be paid back.
