  1. A small layout to practice my modelling skills before I begin an n gauge small layout. Any help on lighting for n gauge ? I want to build some sort of way to transfer the loco from tracks
  2. Picked up a second hand loco shed and put it together. Tried to weather it a little so it looked less plastic kit...
  3. Thank you for replying. Hopefully I will get the track down soon. Just about to lay down the cork underlay.
  4. Just starting to plan a layout after years out.. Used to have an 00 gauge layout years back. Basic idea with the room I have got is somewhere to display my locos, and also have a little shunting fun, so realise it will not be based on real life or pretending to try to be. Shelf is 72cm by 21cm. I am also considering some sort of fiddle yard of transverser at the right hand side as you look at the photo. As I am new to n gauge not sure whether to go for set track or code 80, but here is my plan (based on set track at the moment) and a photo. I have got cork to use as an underlay before ballasting, and also have an inspection pit to build as well. Any suggestions on improvements etc.. gratefully received.
