Hi all I have purchased a "car crash" original Class 158, and to say the wiring has been butchered is a total understatement. I wish to do a complete re-wire. Therefore, can anyone help with a diagram please?

Hi Everyone Does anyone have a photograph of the Mainline Warship Power Bogie gear train. I have just overhauled mine and for some stupid reason when the drive wheels are attach the geardtrain locks up. I know I should have taken some before I dismantle but did not. For some reason the motor runs fantastically well but put the wheels in it will not run. I know they are a bit of a pig but I am ready to throw it across the room. Thanks

Is there anyone who can help me? I have a locomotive which has been fitted with front and tender oil lamps. Can anyone tell me how I solder the wires to a Bachmann 21 pin decoder? I have posted this on before but it did not get any response. Thank you Mike

Hello again everyone, I am most grateful for all of your help. Can anyone assist with my new query please. I have a Bachmann 4F locomotive that I have fitted two front lights and a tender rear light. Problem I have is where and how do I solder the wires from the lights to the decoder?

Can anyone help me with a small 00 figure that is climbing a ladder please. I am making a small section of the railway with a small diorama of an small industrial chimney with Fred Dibnah. Have looked around and cannot see anything/anyone who produces such a figure. Appreciate any help. Thank You Mike

Have just been delivered my Bachmann class 121 DMU. Not sure there is a suitable sound decoder for this one yet. Has anyone fitted one to it yet please? I have been listening to the ones on you tube etc but most sound pretty bad "tinny". to my ears Cannot hear on start up, engine start from No1 then No 2. Just one engine start and run up? Can any one advise please. Thanks.

Hi Everyone, Hope all in the community are keeping safe and using the time to do the best hobby. Can anyone help/advise me on how to solder up the wires from the lights I have fitted to the chip?. Locomotive id a Bachmann 4F and has a 21 pin chip fitted I think it is a three function. Like to switch the front lights on and off but with alternate for the tender light illuminated. Front on red off, red on front off. Appreciate any help.

Hi Everyone. Looking for help and Information again please. I have a Bachmann Class 37 which is a bit old. However, I have fitted it with a DCC chip, but I would like now to fit the nose end with direction lights and cab lighting. I also wish it obviously to be directional. I have attached photos of the locomotive I wish to modify. Can any one help/advise me please. Thank You

After applying around eight pieces of slim plasticard and exerting a little more force than is usually required the body came free.Thanks everyone.

Has anyone undertaken the body removal from the chassis of the Bachmann LMS Inspection Saloon? I wish to apples some lighting and interior detail. Appreciate the two handrails need to be detached from the body along with the bogies. Have inserted four very thin plastic sheet between the body and solebatr but it appears to be stubborn. Any help advice photos be appreciated. Mike

Thanks everyone for the updates. I tend to stick with Bachmann in view of the good detail etc. my order is for the green with whiskers so not to long now. Bit frustrating though as first it was October 19 then Jan 20 now April.

After the announcement of this DMU. In January 2019 placed and paid for it on pre-order. Despite trying to get updates from Bachmann they really are being evasive as to when I can get my hands on it? Effectivley out of pocket with nothing to show for it, I am now getting a bit annoyed with them as other types have been released and are out there. Has anyone got any better updated info about it please. Thanks Mike

Sorry not sure if I'm in the right area. Am now on the second set one from Kernow and now Rails of Sheffield. Has anyone else out there had absolute rubbish from the sets. First one went back to Bachmann because the two power cars either left one behind or ran up the backside of the other and was noisy. Came back had a motor changed and a snotty letter from Bachmann, even though I was told to send it direct to them for sorting. Was just the same when it came back. Was sent back for a refund. Second set jus been tried and set up on service track and programmed correctly. Dynamis handset went crackers shooting it off even when there was no power applied, power on handset showed the power going off on its own but the cars kept going also lights working but no sound. Also both power cars were exactly the same as the first two. I've had enough. Would like to know if anyone else has had trouble with these sets. Not cheap either. Thanks Mike

Can any provide any assistance/knowledge including materials for fitting power pick up from the rails to coach wheels please. Wishing to fit interior lighting without resorting to batteries. Thank You Mike

Help needed with decoder CV Values please. I have a few locomotives that we're fitted with Bachmann decoders and are only programmed to start and stop. I have now fitted a couple of the steam locomotives with a firebox light. I have been provided with the CV value to make the light flicker. However, when I follow the instruction for changing the value, I get an error code of 10. I have no idea as to what the CV values of these chips are as they were fitted a long time ago. All that I know is they were from and are Bachmann supplied. How can I find the CV values and what is error 10 Please. I do not really want to dismantle the locomotive again as it was very awkward to fit in the first place.
