  1. Thanks for that, will check out the track for possible faults. I also put this post on the DCC section of the forum and have had advice from there as well
  2. Have not had the problem today having run 3 loco's for half an hour, but will all of the advice given if it starts reoccurring. Thanks for all your help.
  3. I'll try running loco's and flexing the controller lead to see if that reproduces the fault. Would an increased load on the system reproduce this kind of fault. I'm thinking, I have an incline on the layout about 3 deg, the class 37 is slowing down towards the top of the incline, the class 37 has internal lighting as well. Is there any way of checking the current being drawn. Just realized that the fault occurred when the class 37 was stationary.
  4. Thanks for your prompt response. Prior to putting this post on the problem was quite frequent, having spent the last hour running various combination of loco's I've only had it occur once with loco's 5 & 6 operational. The display dimms when it occurs which as you say would be the result of a short some where on the tracks. I have experienced odd occurrences when the layout has been dormant for a period and on this occasion we've been on holiday for a week. If it continues I will try to identify the possible cause of the short, it seems so random not quite sure where to start.
  5. Hi I'm new to this, so please bear with me. I run an N gauge layout with 3 locomotives, A class 68 with sound pulls 4 carriages all with internal light bars. A class 37 goods train and a Class 156 2 car set. On occasions I experience all loco's stopping and the Gaugemaster Prodigy Express 2 controller displaying SAdA 0065. This clears the Class 68 loco runs but the other 2 remain stationary. I clean the track but dont have a wheel cleaner as yet, any suggestions as to the cause of this problem.
