  1. You'll have to save that post for pasting again in the future Fran! Some people have no idea of the logistics involved. Why waiting a few more days or even 2 to 3 weeks is an issue I have no idea. We've waited 20 years for coaches at this standard.
  2. The heart response to your statement gives you the answer! Great value coaches in my view (buying them in pairs on the website). 2As in Blue / Grey with Scotrail and NSE decals would be great. Maybe the temporary Provincial / NSE livery with the red stripe painted out. Plenty of permutations.
  3. Fully agree. 2 x 3 car running together would be majestic. Probably a blue / grey 311 as well. :-)
  4. Given 2As are in short supply and as you point out there is an uplift in quality with the Accurascale version then I think there will be a good market for them with the detail and added extras (lights etc). I would certainly buy quite a few. Currently waiting eagerly for the 2Ds and 2Es first though! :-)
  5. Looking forward to mine. Thanks all for the heads up on spare sets becoming available. It didn't take long for a couple to appear on eBay.
  6. That is a big commitment and deserves a perpetual round of applause in my view. It particular helps those who have put faith in purchases and might not have their layouts in a suitable state to properly run them on right now. I only recently got mine up and running with the basics and have had a couple of issues which you guys are sorting through. Thanks, Richard.
  7. As units go it is the place to start. Such a classic beast.
  8. I just wonder as NCE output is 13.5V using the standard power unit supplied but Accurascale are saying ideally the loco needs 14V then will this have had an influence on my 37s downfall. Or the reality is I've just got a dodgy motor in mine.
  9. Thanks, that is useful. Have run into problems with my AS 37 after some more extensive running in (support ticket is with AS). I am wondering if a DCC concepts upgraded power supply for my NCE powercab would alleviate root cause going forward.
  10. Haha yes.... these things seem to be a topic of debate at the moment!
  11. What controller do you use Steve out of interest?
  12. Hi Steve, Do you mind me asking what f29 does? Does it launch more braking sounds? I only seem to get brake squealing when stopping quite sharply on light loco mode. (I don't know a way to access F29 on an Nce powercab). Thanks, Richard.
  13. Thanks Mike. I've paid the 50% deposit on mine. Will there be emails generated to pay the balance when appropriate? This is my first pre-order with Revolution direct.
  14. Hi, Expected in the UK early in the New Year or going into Production?
  15. Just a matter of time before all the Mk2 variants are done the Accurascale way. Crying out for a Cross Country Mk2d rake and some Scotrail ones here. :).
  16. That is fantastic Steve. I'll have another read through that and see if further tweaks needed. I did find your original post in the Class 37 thread eventually. Such great locos and a few simple tweaks make it drive so much better. Thanks again.
  17. Thanks so much. In my very late night continue research I did find those posts. Very useful and I made some alterations following that this morning and it is so much better. Cheers.
  18. I am sure this is probably covered elsewhere but having searched I can't really find a specific answer. I've recently gone DCC with an NCE Powercab and I've powered up a short test section of track. I am testing using an Accurascale sound fitted 37. When no sound or lights are activated the loco will start to crawl away really nicely on speed step 1 (when using the 28 speed steps). When lights and sound start to be activated the loco doesn't get going until the powercab is notched up to step 3 and it doesn't crawl away... the starting momentum is a bit quick and a tad umrealistic. ( I am non too technical but I guess this is down to the voltage consumed ). Is there anything that can be tweaked so it moves away at a crawl when using sound? Thanks, Rich.
  19. Hi Fran, With reference to some late 80s versions (red and yellow) without the cross bars then are these on the horizon? Just trying to plan the budget and I need a bag load of them at some point! Thanks, Rich.
  20. Good shout. Be great on a Glasgow Blue Train! :-)
  21. The gift that keeps on giving for 15 years! In all seriousness, the more variety made the more people are convinced they need another one.... and another one....
  22. Thanks. Yeah I am not too burdened by that very fine detail if I am honest. I'll see what becomes available first.
